“ This place is fun, inviting, great indoor/outdoor patio which is excellent for people watching, the drinks were good and reasonably priced, the food was delicious. I was hesitant because of some of the negative reviews but my experience was great! The bartender was also super sweet and makes a delicious margarita! I will be back and I think this is a super family friendly establishment that I can bring my kids too. ”
“ Came in on opening day. Sooo happy they’re finally in the springs! House margarita was great and on happy hour. My bowl was so good but I know exactly how to order it (after going a few times). The steak in my friend’s burrito was dry and chips were stale but I can’t wait to come back! ”
“ Fun atmosphere, excellent location. Fantastic food and friendly, helpful staff. Really doesn't get much better than that! Portions were generous and pricing is phenomenal in consideration to other establishments with the same concept. I like that you get a choice of tortilla or chips with your bowl unlike others that charge you for that. Flavors were outstanding. The hot salsa is truly hot! They have options like potatoes, queso and green chili to add on for small upcharges. The fish tacos come out fresh and crisp and well worth the wait! ”
“ We went in for a bowl, the asada was tender and tasty, and we had the green chili in the bowl which was also really good. We will be back again! ”
“ Located in downtown Colorado Springs, Illegal Pete's has a good menu selection with fresh ingredients made to order right in front of you. We had the veggie breakfast burrito and it didn't disappoint. This burrito was packed full of fresh eggs and veggies along with some sour cream, corn and jalapeno. Best breakfast burrito for the price by far. Check it out for yourself. ”
“ Great service and great food. Me and my wife had a random date here today and can't complain about the food or the cleanliness of the location. The lady's making the food did a great job and we enjoyed the environment. ”
“ Went here with a coworker down the street from our office and I thought it was a great fast casual mexican place! Two burrito bowls (one steak, one chicken and fajita veggies) was 23 even. Decent price and the portions were large and tasted great! The bar area looks like a good place to watch a game and there is plenty of seating inside and outside (covered). Staff was very nice and helpful when ordering. 5/5 ”
“ Finally we were able to try this place! The prices are the same as any other build your own bowl/burrito. We tried the steak and the carnitas. The steak was just ok, kind of tasted like animal food, while the carnitas was tender and very tasty! They have chipotle ranch that I highly recommend because it's the best thing in the world! I also appreciate the fact that once you're done choosing what you want in the burrito, they mix it all up for you before folding it. The place is extremely loud though, almost impossible to hear each other. Overall it was good, but nothing different than any other restaurant of this kind. ”
